Alex Paradise is a musician from Bath, in the west country of England.

He is a multi-instrumentalist, primarily of guitar, piano, bass, drums and saxophone, and a vocalist, as well as songwriter and producer.

After a period spent in functions bands, in 2002 he joined the 1930s swing infused Bristol drum and bass act The Fabrics with whom he played far and wide, including two appearances at Glastonbury Festival, a main-stage appearance at Ashton Court Festival, headline shows at Bristol's prestigious Thekla and Trinity Centre venues, and all corners nationally. He later released two solo albums, which were later combined into one re-issue - Popinjay. Following a break to raise a family he made a return in to music with a new album The Whole System in 2023.

In 2025 he followed with the album The Memory Blade.
